Booking Terms

04200013   At Flamingo Adventure Tours & Disabled Ventures we believe that Booking Conditions should be easy to read and understand, in plain and simple language, to ensure that there is no confusion about the obligations of both parties. Please read carefully and contact us if you are not sure of anything. Listed below are the agreements which both parties will have entered into once the holiday is confirmed. The conditions are intended to be fair to both parties, giving certain rights and obligations to each. Please fill in the Enquiry Form correctly and accurately. If information is withheld or misleading answers are given, Flamingo Adventure Tours & Disabled Ventures will be totally absolved from any claim of compensation for whatever cause whilst on our Tours. Please also read your itinerary very carefully, as by confirming your booking you accept everything in the itinerary as it stands. All problems must be discussed immediately when they arise with the Tour Leader/Guide. Complaints received at a later stage will not be accepted under any circumstances. As in other countries, not all accommodation in South Africa is fully accessible. By accepting the quote, you also accept this fact. Please make your own arrangements for insurance for airline flights not departing on time etc; baggage loss & damage and Medical & Death Cover Insurance.

1.

On confirmation of the tour, a non-refundable deposit will be required within 48 hours. This deposit amount will be stated on your personalised itinerary quote. Remember your quote is only valid for 30 days from date on quote. On receipt of this money, it immediately and automatically binds both parties to a contract to fulfill their obligations for this tour.

Balance of deposit to be received by date stated on your personalised quote. Failure to make this payment will automatically cancel the tour and any deposits will be forfeited. Any changes requested to itinerary after deposit has been received will be billed to you accordingly. Any major changes to dates will also be for your account, if any expenses are incurred by the changes. Cancellation must be in writing. Please note cancellation details on your personalised quote.

We will make every effort to provide the tour as per itinerary, but we reserve the right to make changes where we deem it necessary for any reason whatsoever.

4.

Refunds and Unused Services - no refunds whatsoever will be made for no-shows and unused services.

5.

We do not accept any responsibility for negligence, by ourselves or our agents, but will do our best to maintain our very high standards.

6.

24-hour medical emergency help can be facilitated/arranged if required. We do not accept responsibility of administration of medication, injections or medical procedures. If you wish our staff to assist with this, it will be done at your own risk.

7.

Please make sure that you have a valid passport, which is valid for at least 6 months beyond time of visit, plus the relevant visas where required. This is your responsibility.

8.

These booking conditions are governed by terms of South African law to which both parties will submit.

9.

Fully accessible accommodation is not readily available throughout South Africa and we will endeavor to make it as acceptable as possible and will give you details of each accommodation establishment's facilities where possible. We accept no responsibility for compensation after the tour has been confirmed or taken as acceptance of the quote confirms your acceptance of the facilities available. At certain attractions and accommodation venues there will be obstacles to negotiate, such as a few steps, but we will try to keep these to a minimum or provide portable ramps where we deem it necessary.

10.

If you should require a personal carer, please arrange this yourself. From experience we find that this is the best way of ensuring that your carer speaks your language and knows your customs. For your own safety, please ensure that your carer is known to you and is registered as a carer with an Association for the Disabled in your country. We accept no responsibility for care or lack of it, given by your carer during your tour. Our guides will not double as carers at any time whatsoever.

11.

If you wish to participate in any adventure activities, please make sure that you are medically fit to do so, or have with you the relevant certification. We only facilitate adventures and indemnities with the relevant companies that run these adventures, will be signed. We accept no responsibility for any injury, death or loss, price increases etc; whatsoever. Please be totally realistic about your ability when wanting to take these adventures. Many of us would like to do many things but not all are possible.

12.

If you wish to participate in any adventure activities, please make sure that you are medically fit to do so, or have the necessary certification with you. We only facilitate adventures - indemnities with the relevant companies that run these adventures, will have to be signed by you. We accept no responsibility for any injury, death or loss, price increases etc whatsoever. Please be totally realistic about your ability when an adventure activity. Many of us would like to do many things, but not all are possible.

13.

Once the deposit has been received and the quote accepted, there will by an additional booking fee of R250 charged for any changes to your itinerary, each time you make a change.
